I know how ya'all like pics and vids, so....

New to me 026. I bought it last week. It wouldn't run unless I choked it with my thumb.

I spent a couple of hours this morning cleaning it up, cleaned the carb, and here's the result. Turned out to be a nice little saw.

Pardon the grainy vid.. I just used my digital camera.

I left it a little rich... I didn't have my tach out, and didn't want to over-rev it.

Great looking 026. I used mine this morning to cut up a few branches that snapped of in the ice storm last week.

Not trying to criticize but it looks as if your plastic cover for the cylinder is not aligned correctly. I can see that the plastic dowel on the carb end is not correctly seated in its hole.

Again great looking saw!!

Great little saw.

+1 on the top cover. They can be kind of tricky to get lined up just right.

Yeah.. I didn't notice it until I was looking at the pics... Easy fix.. :)

My fingers were cold.. yeah.. That's my excuse.. :) hehe

Nice saw!!!

Sounds like she runs good!!! Take that green saftey chain off and get a more agressive chain on there and she will cut nice too!!!

I actually bought this one to sell.. so the safety chain stays.. :)

You're right though.. I hate that chain... I bought some Woodland Pro Full Chisel chain for my MS260... What a difference that made!

I had a 026 and a ms260 once before and decided I didn't need both... Well, I'm in the same situation now.. :)

I actually already have a buyer for this one.

Yep, One look at this saw is all I needed. Won't be no safety chain on this one when it starts cuttin in Al. but I know the reason for the safety chain, some folks need it if they don't have enough experience.

I'm working on a trade for another one so I might end up with a matched pair. Look at that. Real screw in caps.

Yeah.. it's close... I actually did cut a little with it before I took the video. I think it's close enough...

Jtheo has dibbs on it.. :)

I wish I had 4 more to sell... I've gotten a lot of offers.. hehe

J, I'll send you an email tomorrow early afternoon or late morning... Something came up for the morning, and I don't know what time I'll be home.

Thats fine, whenever you have time will be good with me.

This saw has now got a new home in Alabama. Started first pull.

As long as I am able to run a saw, this 026 will stay right here.

Two saws I don't want to ever be without. 026 and a 211, and you are hearing this from a Dolmar guy.:biggrinbounce2:
