So I had two 395XP saws and one wasn’t running good so I sent the one that wasn’t running good off to have it ported. I got it back a couple of weeks ago. There is nothing sadder than having a new toy like that and not having any big wood to cut with it 😢. I found a friend with a big white oak log down and he allowed me to come over last Saturday to cut it up for him. I was doing the happy dance, grinning from ear to ear all morning long Saturday. A ported saw will do that to you. THANK YOU Kevin L ! Another happy customer.

One with XS and one without.

I didn’t get real specific with measurements and times but at about 38” diameter , both with 36” bars the ported saw was about 30 seconds quicker making a cut. Different bars and chains, but both were sharp. 1 1/2 min for the none ported saw and 1 min for the one with the XS sticker. That is quite a bit quicker over stock. On up the trunk where several big limbs came together, it was about 50” dia. I put the 42” bar on the XS saw and it ran just as good or better than with the 36” on it. 1669139896703.png
