New Year's Day cutting...

No better way to spend the New Year than out with a good friend and cutting wood. There was a massive red oak that needed to come out from a nearby property owner's ranch. He had previously tried to cut it down with an axe and that clearly didn't work. Beautiful day, beautiful firewood!

i dropped and cut up a big redoak a few weeks ago,, dang i had fun

That's a 28" bar on my 924, so it was probably 36". Biggest one I've had the pleasure to cut down!
