When is the best time to cut down pine trees? Or is there a best time? I heard Febuary is the best. All I know is we have been living here for two years and I'm tired of the old lady's car getting sapped.

I had two pines leaning towards the house and at this time of year the ran and the wind kept making them lean more. I went out last week and cut them down and started to cut up chunks I could carry off.. I decided to let them set awhile as the sap ran out like water...Maybe when it gets cold I"ll go back after them.....
