Top end looks pretty good IMO.
No recoil so I can't get a good compression number.
If you're interested, let me know. All ignition parts, oiler, etc are there.

Well, I blame a bunch of you guys on here with all the pics & jaw flappin about how good the 49cc class Poulan saws are. 
So I have a 3000 on the way. I'm sure I'll like it, if close to the Partner 500/5000 type saw. I think those are 49cc also. Have one of those and love it. Hopefully it won't need much but some clean up.

Thanks Bob! This 3000 is suppose to be a runner...but who knows. I have a great running 500 Partner, love that saw. Also have a 5000+ that I eventually got a new piston and rings for. Cleaned the cyl. I'm short a carb mount bracket for that, so havn't tried it yet, just been sitting. I could swap the bracket from the 500 to try it out I suppose.
The 3000 looks to be a good match, power/size wise to them.

That pic with the P/52 has me wondering....Is that the equivalent to the PP 455? If not..which one is?

P42 is same as the 455, p52 is 525 iircThat pic with the P/52 has me wondering....Is that the equivalent to the PP 455? If not..which one is?
