I had some time and decided to see what the issue was. As my pic shows, the only sprocket that works properly, regardless of which clutch I use, is the one on the right. My other sprockets are like the one on the left and the chain spins at idle regardless of which clutch I use. Any thoughts as i’m Baffled as to the reason.

Off set maybe?

If you still would like to have one, Sears actually has some in their warehouse, $17 per, & the daym shipping is 2/3 again the cost of the bearing, lol.

But, when you’re hard up to get a P5400 thin ring muscle saw back together, you’ll pay the price for one.

Those bearings fit the rods on the whole series.

Well, Sears cancelled my order.

The 5400 WP bearing is NLA as I thought...I even called them beforehand to check, made a liar out of me...Husky bearing on order now!

Getting further into the 5200. Made a spanner wrench for the clutch but neglected to make a plate for my flywheel puller so the removal of those will wait until tomorrow.
Interesting design. Will need to address one of the antivibe mounts. Thinking about making a polyurethane bushing to replace it. otherwise the tank goes to work tomorrow for cleanup.

Be glad you don't have to do what I did to fix the 5200 I just finished. The front right side mount had broken the hole part of the case away. I had a old case that I cut the part I needed and had a friend weld the magnesium piece back in. Whatever it takes to save one 20200122_144059.jpg 20200122_161812.jpg 20200129_122217.jpg 20200129_122556.jpg 20200204_101043.jpg
