I believe it may have the original chain. The fellow I bought it from, who is not young, said it was his father-in-law's. It is probably the newest looking used saw I ever found. It is so clean I am reluctant to get it dirty before offering it up for sale. Do you have any ideas for pricing on such a special rare bird?

Once I bought a grey Sears 33cc rigid poulan saw that still had the clear polyethylene bar sheath. But it was coated in shelf dirt. This 2200 is just shiny.

I believe the wild things I have come across were rigid. And they were a mix of sizes. But with a muffler mod they were capable, for a small saw. But they are hard on the hands. With the springy AV, this one should be much better.

Just want to show what a difference finishing touch of cross hatching does. ;)

First 2 pics.
Here is cleaned up by hand with emery cloth and flapper wheel. See how you can still see the scuff area. But it is smooth as can be to go across it with fingernail or finger or whatever you want to use.

Then the next 2 pics are after the final step with ball hone used for crosshatch.

Hey guys, been a real looong time since last posted, life took over, however I'm trying to fix up my 3700, not oiling really all that great, so I pulled the pump apart and the pintle was stuck in the bore not moving. I cleaned it all up and got the pintle to work freely, diaphgam seems to be alright albit stretched but we'll see, I also replaced the oil pickup line while I was in there, used some 1/8" tygon fuel line, anyway too late to go outside and make noise, have to wait till tomorrow, hopefully she oils.

I got the 3700 going it’s oiling now although nothing to write home about but non the less is definitely oiling the chain. Anyway got right back into it pulled the cylinder after doing compression test got 130. Gonna hone it put new rings and no base gasket. Still have the stock 20” bar with LGX chain, maybe spring for a Oregon bar soon.

Also just picked up a non running Craftsman 3.4-16 for $20 local Craigslist ad tonite, very low hours, not a chip in the paint. Fuel lines disintegrated and starter rope missing. Probably have it running tomorrow got plenty of fuel line and an extra carb kit if needed.

I’ll try to get some pics bench is a mess lol

Haven't been on it for a few years, after my auto wreck.
