Picked up a couple a few days ago.
I have question on the 3750. Do you guys run this pre-filter or ditch it?
Seems to like it would be a big restriction to the air filter.

Not a prefilter. Just for noise. I toss them or glue them in depending on folks. If mine I toss aside.

IPL even calls it sound foam.

@s sidewall Nah it’s not a Custom it’s a 1990 1200 that I’ve managed to change just about everything lol.

So how do you like that 380? It looks about new.
It's awesome. Same as a 3450 type 3 or 3750. The original top cover was melted, the only new one I found at the time was a TA Badboy and purple. Great saws horrible color so I painted it black. The recoil also is from a PP305 I'd like to find the SP 380 one.

Some of you guys may remember about 10 years ago I scored this immaculate NOS Poulan S25 DA for $70 bucks shipped. Well I still have it, only take it once in while to look at it lol. Not sure of the year but it has a point ignition so I’d assume before 1976.

IMG_4991.JPG IMG_4992.JPG IMG_4994.JPG IMG_4995.JPG Here's a little devil I just finished. Real strong runner I didn't bother testing compression but I'd guess it right around 150 psi. Gonna go back to work as a back up climber for a tree guy in town. I rebuilt the carb a few years ago with new intake gaskets. The fuel line was new then, since gone bad so I ran a new line, set him up with a 14" bar and new Oregon chain. While
starting it I saw fuel squirting up from the cap. Duckbill was gone so I replaced it. Pretty simple, couple pics for everyone, and the part number.

I told @JeremiahJohnson that I would post this up if it worked. This is my true red headed step child. Poulan 3300 in Craftsman clothes with a newly converted to 20" 3/8 7 pin rim drive with an old new stock small mount McCulloch ( actually Windsor ) bar. I think it looks cool! The bar studs on the 3300 are wore a bit so there was no bar modification needed. It mounted right up with the oil holes matching perfectly with a 3/8 70 DL chain that I borrowed from the 3400. The McCulloch bars are set up the same way to oil through the adjustment hole. I have seen the Husky 095 bars work with a little modification but not the old small mount McCulloch so this might be something new if you are looking for 041 alternatives. I'm thinking it has been done before though. - just can't find a posting. My 12" cherry test wood is almost down to nothing so only could do one cut. The saw is ported with a timing advance and seems like it can handle the extra load with no problem. Once I get it to camp in a couple weeks I think it might end up needing a tad richening to get it dialed in. Special thanks to Kris Wagner who sold me the bar at the last PA GTG. Anyone not looking not to spend a pile of money on a full chisel 3/8 lo pro non safety chain for the smaller Poulans the Archer chains are really nice and $10 cheaper shipped ($14 for a 62 DL ) than Stihl PS or PS3. I just put one on the 2400 and think I'm going to be impressed. They square file up real nice.

Poulan 3300 in Craftsman clothes

If that has the right topend and thats the right recoil for saw. That is really a poulan 335 predator in craftsman clothes. 54cc chrome bore with single ring 3450 330 piston.

Whole thing looks sweet. Glad it worked. Never had those bars here to know.
