Hello skeet88 , does the newer PR4218 use 3/32" by 3/16" fuel line through the grommet instead of the .080 by .140 fuel line ?
Not sure , I just went ahead and put the 3/32x3/16 line on it. It was a snug fit so I’m thinking it was the smaller line.
regarding my craftsman (2000) - no obstructions in the muffler. replaced the fuel lines.
now the saw will start and run for a second then dies. got couple more things to try.
thinking maybe fuel filer, even though i cleaned it with carb cleaner. also thinking the jet, covered with a plug.
. ordered a carb kit just to try. thanks for suggestions.

Past couple days I been giving the "old Poulans" a chance to shine, and they did just great. I think they like the cooler weather, like me. Big swamp White Oak, that died last year. Were a few leaves on the trunk this spring, but didn't last long. I measured the main log to the first crotch at 45'.
I cut the top with PP380 and 3000. Then used the 4200 on some of the bigger upper parts, then today used the 5200. I swear it runs better the more I run it. Was gonna film some, but my old camera batt. said no. So ordered one of those. Have another one of these to do in couple weeks.
The log was 30" at bottom and 19" at first crotch. Lotta wood in that, heavy too. Love them old green saws!!!

Posted this a day or so ago for someone in MO to grab on my chainsaw repair FB group. Guy was going to go grab it but someone offered 100 to hold till weekend for them. So see where it turns up next.
Just the parts are worth that to the right guys wanting to do the poulan made by dolmar saws. I never cared for these myself after running one back in 2005ish time frame. But I do like all that lime green.

Wow! If the drive cover is intact that'd be a find in and of itself as they're unobtanium. Love that full wrap handle! Max.

The grey Craftsman crankshaft measures 0.406", 6 tooth 3/8 LP needed.
The red Craftsman has an Oregon drum with a 9 spline, I suspect the sprockets are no longer available so I will need to replace the drum. Crankshaft measures 0.437.
Part numbers or a place to look would be very helpful. I tried Sears Parts Direct to see if I could at least find numbers but they don't seem to have these older saws listed.

I just boxed up a little red craftsman 2.1 ( I think). Will give it a peak later. I have a yellow one from the same era I believe.
Are they the same as the S25 poulan?
No, each one seems to be a bit different. The shaft on the 25 is a bit smaller than the grey craftsman.

Ok, I have to look through some drums and see what I have.
Hi Mark,
The grey Craftsman is a Micro series saw. The Oregon PN for the sprocket is 28004
The red Craftsman is a 25 series saw and the Oregon PN for the sprocket is 28006
I find the Oregon sprockets are easier to find as both those series were popular saws.
The 335 is a very peppy saw.

Someone mentioned a micro. I have a poulan micro. I've settled in for the night but would gladly look at it tomorrow if needed. The saw is quite rough so I'm not sure if the drum would be worth anything.

Thanks Bob, I would be interested in the 19779 drum, sprocket, and clutch. I would also be interested in what you find regarding the Micro.
I was able to find a few 3/8-7-9 sprockets on eBay and have them on the way. I would like to add the 1/4-8-9 sprocket for my chain & sprocket display.
With Tim's assistance I will go looking for another 28004 drum to compliment the grey one.
