Our church has services on Saturday and Sunday, I always try to hit the Saturday night worship that way I don’t have to get up early on Sunday.

Yeah, I’ll be watching the Daytona, hopefully a Ford comes in first and the Toyota's last.

The whole world stands still the 3rd Sunday in February for me. Wild horses couldnt drag me away from the tv when its time to watch the Daytona 500. Its a family tradition.

It used to be for me too -at least when a Ford was a Ford and a Chevy was a Chevy etc. I think the France family screwed up racing by homoginizig the brands into this COT crap! There's nothing to differentiate the brands. The win on Sunday buy on Monday mentality is shot!

Al

I will definaely watch the race, but frankly IMHO there is nothing more boring than a restrictor plate race with the whole field taking turns dragging each other around the track at the same speed.

Give me a real old style race like BRISTOL.

Just my thoughts.

info please

Not into racing but know many who are. Not trying to start a fight here, but what was the big deal about Dale Sr.? From what I hear, he was a dirty racer. Liked to bump opponents to spin them out. Am I wrong about that?

Happy Redneck New Year!

I really thought these new cars were going to be the end of NASCAR, but I'm starting to feel otherwise. I'm no big restricter plate race fan. What I have liked with these new cars is how the guys can save a car after they start losing it in a corner.
