Not enough Bar?????

Meh, I wouldnt call it a lightsaber, just a chainsaw.

The saw should run a hair leaner but not enough to burn up the saw with a shorter bar.

If you use different bar lenghts, tune the saw with the shortest one, and you will be fine....:)

...or retune when you change between them....

Just add a bigger sprocket and it will drop the rpms and increase the chain speed at the same time. I run an 8pin on shorter bars and don't lean too hard on the saw and it works very well.

Get a tac, and you will soon find out!

Even with a big saw with a long bar and chain you cut up thinner stuff like 10" and that dosnt seem to hurt the saw! So why not run a shorter bar i cant see why it would hurt.
