today i saw a redoak that was leaved out and has been fine for the spring the the client said , the rootflare was covered a little and being such a young tree at about 50ft . do you think their a oakwilt in midalantic area . thanks:confused:

the tree had had one branch that was green ,maybe five leaves .it seems that const. damage wouldn't react that fast, seems like it usally takes along timea year two. let you know what happens .

Yes it will. The tree stays green until it's out of juice then it goes brown in a hurry.
I've seen hundreds of em. :( Don't hypothesize exotic diseases or bug attacks, until you search out the simple reasons first.

I reason i thought it was a wilt is because thier was no dead in the tree at all, you see that from time to time when const damage occurs. i know my insects and des pretty good the tree the tree just looked a little funny.
