I have an old bar for my Dolmar 133, I had a coworker of mine order a stihl chain that was a 404. 46/81. The 81 drive links is WAY too much for the length of the bar. Im thinking its something like 68, 70, or 72? Any help with the numbers on the bar or matching up the chain would be a HUGE help. Just need to get one that works and then I will always know what to get for the future

Small Town, way down South- New Zealand.
You have the saw, you have the bar and you have a chain that is currently too long.
Split the chain, wind the adjuster back to near all the way in, fit the bar and hold the chain in place- marking where it needs to be split again for it to be correct length.
Will cost you a few minutes and a .404 joiner link. Count the drive links and write it down somewhere (or stamp that bar with the drive link count).
Problem solved.
