I have this 12" bar on my Dolmar 3410TH tree saw:

Today I noticed some saw chains on clearance at Walmart and took a chance on two TriLink 12" chains for $9.50 with these specs:
3/8" LP .050" gauge 44DL

Is there any chance these chains will work on my 45DL bar...maybe if I adjust the bar real far back? Or am I S.O.L. and need to return the chains for refund?

Thanks for any help.

It might fit but lots of variables are involved, such as bar wear and the chain tensioner. I know you do not want to open one of them. but I would to see if it fits. You can return the other one if it does not. It's worth $5 or so to find out. Be prepared to accept the fact that it will be a hair too tight to load on.
