Finally finished saw and tuned it. Helped a friend with some hay, mowing and round bailing. Discbine split pto shaft straight down the middle taking out carrier bearing yoke, round baler tying arm took out twine cutter, which had broken a return spring. Guy used a hammer on JD2030 hydraulic remote and installed rebuild kit. Finished those repairs yesterday, the joys of farming with old equipment.
Back to the saw, fired right up and tach set idle at 2760 and free at 11,800 will turn it up after a tank or two. Had a 13,000 limited coil, but installed an unlimited, so would not confuse 4 stroking with hitting limiter. Here are some pics of finished saw and labels from oem parts used. German made p/c kits seem to me to have a better finish, anyone else have a comment about them? Someone may ask why no tag (read a post about that before, saying must be stolen, NOT) clutch side top strap was broken and replaced with oem clutch side case.

Have to wait until end of August/Sept to try and limit spread of oak wilt, gypsy moths are back again in numbers. Guess we did not qualify for spraying this year, will be calling at count time. Neighbor is hot about being taxed and not sprayed.
@cuinrearview asked if I would be selling, it would take $575 plus shipping, for me to let it go.
