I have a craftsman 3.3ci, 54cc,20 inch:givebeer: b&c that is throwing alot of bar oil. I think there is an adjuster beside the spur sprocket which way would I turn it to slow the oil flow down.:

Can you post a pic of the sprocket side of the saw with the cover off? There are a few different types of Craftsmans that fit your description.

Is the oil actually all making it into the bar groove or is it flowing out around the clutch too?

The chain is well oiled. I am using Poulan bar and chain oil. I guess I shouldnt complain atleast it is oiling. The saw seems to be usinging alot of oil.

I think it oils lke a raped ape. The oil is going onto the bar and chain and also the clutch cover and oozing out the sides pretty good.
