Old attachments--gone?

While looking at old threads, some posts had attachments that are now missing. Sometimes there is a red X, sometimes not.

Anyone know how to retrieve these? It's hard to figure out what's going on without them.

How old? Not exactly sure when it happened but I think every pic got wiped site wide at one point. Nothing u could do for those.

The pictures were deleted, either from the server here or from whatever server they were hosted on. No way to put them back unless the OP goes back and restores them.
