Old Blue is back on line

My old Homelite XL 12 wouldn't start. I turned the high and low adjustments in and back out to where they were set but she still wouldn't fire. Put some fuel in the cylinder, which I tried without success the other day. This time she fired right off and kept running. She runs just like in the old days, with a bit of a miss from time to time.

The good ole XL12, they just wont die, they give a bit of trouble from time to time, but they dont ever really die.

When everyone around here was running the knew 056mag twos with hot fuel in them I watched a local logger, been logging all his life, win the saw competition around here he was up against, a bunch of 056s ,and 064s old blue won 1st place, and the guy running it could barely hold it anymore being in his 80s I was very impressed.
