I just picked up a older wood furnace that has a blower in the front that blows air into the box. It also has a blower in the back to push the heated air out the top. It also attached a thermostat to the control no/. My question is how much wood do you load in it? I"M just going to use it to heat a 18x24 garage. Thank.

The tricky part about answering your question is there are so many variables. It depends on what kind of wood, how dry it is, and how long of a burn time is needed. I would start with very small fires and add to them until you reach your desired needs. I personally never load more than 3/4 full. That said I sure wouldn't fill it 3/4 full until you get to know how your burner operates and you know you can control it.
