This was my Grandfather's and hasn't been used in years but is in excellent shape.

I gave the carb a good cleaning and it will start. Seems to scream for a few seconds before dying. The idle will settle down if I hit the throttle but I can only keep it running for 10 or 15 seconds or so.

The fuel lines that I can see look good, compression is 130 and spark is good.

What does the little reserve tank above the carb do? Any tips?

ok, found some directions on adjusting the high/low and now starts right up and idles great! Woohoo!

Next question is the bar oil. Seems to be quite excessive and drips right out of the chain area without landing on the chain.

Cleaned it up, I guess it was just the sawdust under the cover keeping it from spreading around.

The specs say the flow is adjustable but I haven't figured that out.
