Hi Group,
I just got my Husky 372xp back from a friend who rebuilt it with a new crankshaft, which snapped right at the clutch, back in August.
I bought a Cryogenically-hardened one from Chainsawr, up in Vermont. (Good price!!!).
Also a clutch, that I just put on today.
Started it up, cut some 18" maple & oak, and everything worked as it should.
(It did take quite a while and many, many pulls to start it, but after it did all was well).
- I probably should buy a new spark plug, even though I wire brushed it...

I did notice a thin plastic arm which sits behind the clutch assembly, which was broken.
It's part number is: 5037561.
I looked it up on a Husqvarna site, on an exploded parts diagram, but it didn't say what it actually was.

1- Does anyone know what it is?
2 - Do I really need it (ya, I'm sure that I do.
3 - And, can I install this little plastic arm WITHOUTOUT DISASSEMBLING THE SAW AGAIN?!!!

I believe that it is for the bar oiler, but I checked as I was cutting today, and I AM getting bar oil to the bar.

All comments will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving to All on this Great site!
