We are considering buying a new home that has a clear on view of the graveyard. Doesn't bother us at all, except for resale purposes. For resale purposes, I'd need to grow a tree barrier, or at least have one really in progress so people could see it was coming along. Can anyone advise on the options, what it would cost, and how long it would take? I don't want to buy a house and then be unable to resell it in 5 years because the trees are only 8 ft tall scrawny things that dont look like they will ever block anything (even if they eventually would).

Really appreciate any help you can offer. Trying to figure out how big a problem this would be. Don't really think they are offering that much of a discount to fair price without graveyard.

A picture of the site would help us make recommendations, because there are so many variables in plant selection.
It is smart to do something now. You can start with small, inexpensive plants, which tend to do better in the long run.
Without a picture, we'll need to know the size of the planting area (length and width), if there are any over head wires, how tall it needs to be, deciduous or evergreen, site conditions (sun or shade, wet or dry) and any other details you can give.
