You might as while replace impulse line; fuel line and filter (another $15 +/-)

Check over your intake boot really good (another $8 +/-)

Get new clutch springs (another $3 from AS sponsor)

Plus your normal tune up items

Then do a MM once you have your saw apart (best time to do it)

Check for air leaks and compression before you fire it up :msp_wink:

The above is just cheap insurance when putting the saw back together

I believe your kit will come assembled but not tested. Current wisdom is to redo with Threebond, Dirko, etc. If you do a search there is lots of discussion. I have rebuilt a number but have gone s/h OEM from the evilbay. They are all still going.

You can get that at most Stihl Dealers or on the net; this is what most use between the cylinder and the METAL crack case
