I have several feet of 73DP and 73LG chain from 1990 era. What is the difference in the newer Oregon with an X?

In comparing the two spec sheets, the modern "x" version makes mention of "advanced grind geometry"(probably a marketing thing), and blued cutters. Other than that, I don't see any real differences.
In practice yoh won't notice much, if any differance IME. This pertains to LG. I haven't ran DP.
