organic treatments

I spent the last 4 hours looking for information on organic pesticide treatments and im still not sure where to go. Any one who would not mind commenting or providing a quick link would be most helpfull.

I noticed John Paul Sanburn in years past recomended sea weed for the micro's; do you still recommend this. Others here suggested garlic sprays?

The background is as follows; I have been asked to treat mature old orchard cherry and apple trees with borers [with out using chems].

Thanks treeco; almost to much information out there but they look they could do the trick. Having trouble finding someone that sells them. Any recomendations?
