OWB vent size reduced

I have a six inch pipe opening up to an 8

and I have two small 15 cfm blowers.. Used to have one double squirrel cage but it took a dump.(was used and about 30 years old when I stuck it on there.) I could probably get by with just one of the two. I might slip a block out on one and see. The 8 inch triple wall was free..That was why I chose it.. If I knew for fact I would be better off with 6 I would go that route..

Help me understand, I have 8" steel flu pipe on my energy king add on boiler. It has a great amount draft. It wouldnt be easy to put in a damper since I made the with 1/4' wall material. It seems to use lots of wood even when set down. You can feel the air rushing through the draft blower when its not running.What I'm getting from you all is I could reduce the draft by putting a reducing cap on top?
