Just a dumb question from an eastern flatlander.
You guys up in Washington and Oregon. You have such a predominance of pine forrests, what do you burn for firewood?
I would assume you burn the pine and clean your chimneys more often. I know you have hardwoods and all, but do you also use all that pine?
Thanks, george
I burn Pacific mandron burns hotter for longer with less smoke. But I do mix in pine or some kind of soft wood to help get the fire going. I have a fire going everyday, the wood Stove I made out of a mini 3 gallon propane tank in my travel trailer camper is my only heat source. This is my 3rd year using it and haven't cleaned my chimney yet.
