I took a few bigger Pines down back in 2020 with my Stihl 024 Wood Boss. I LOVE that chainsaw! I cut the wood into fireplace logs, but I didn't split them. They've been stacked & drying since July of 2020. I've tried selling them through Craigslist, but had no takers--perhaps because it's pine, perhaps because it's not split.
Friends have taken some, but I've still got a few stacks, and I wouldn't mind if someone wanted to haul them for campfires at home. In the pictures attached, you'll see some Poplar--the white logs. A buddy picked up most of that for his backyard campfire ring. But the Red & White Pine are still all there.
Just keep in mind you can't legally carry wood between two different counties in Minnesota, due to the invasive insects that may live inside them. Especially Emerald Ash Borer, but also many others.
Maybe it's something you'd use for making rustic furniture. Maybe you'd carve it. Or just burn it somewhere that you don't care about the sap getting into a chimney.
If you live in this area & are interested in taking some wood home, I'll entertain any price you might offer, for any or all of it. It's under snow now, but it's still been drying for two years.
If you're not interested, that's OK, too. Hopefully you won't be offended by my offer, and move on without flaming me for hoping to move some campfire wood. Please?
