I just finished up installing a husky 46mm jug and piston in my Partner 500. During the initial break-in run, i seen where it was pouring out oil pretty good. What would cause this. I dont think it should come out like this even just running it and not cutting but maybe.. This thing really seemed to come alive with this setup and opening the muffler.

Is it bar oil could you have a bad gasket are seal are is it two stroke oil and any assembly lube you may have used?

It's bar oil for sure and the saw did this before tear down. Could it be the oiler itself?

It could be the case seal (bw the two halves of the case) and will require splitting the crankcase and replacing the gasket, out of the oiler, or the port in the bar could be stopped and the oil is not getting on the chain but just falling off the bottom of the bar.
