Pictures and Posters

At ISA International conferences there is a corner of the trade show floor devoted to posters. Many people view these posters, but this year there was a lot of unused space. If anyone has an idea of a story of interest to tree scientists that could be told with pictures and a little text, they are encouraged to join AREA ($15.) and submit a proposal to present a poster.

If accepted, there is a substantial discount for conference registration.

Yeah, my poster paid for full-conference registration. A $75 value for me as a student, but a $375 value for a professional.

Hmmm, sounds like it may be worth the effort to get pictures and ideas organized and focused and presented. Doesn't it?

It's definitely more worthwhile for a professional than for a student. I spent $38 printing the poster and quite a few hours just to save $75. You could say I did it for other reasons.
