Hello - I just came across 2 older Pioneer Saws and was wondering if anyone knows what these should be running from compression?

The 700 is @ 110 pounds

The 750 is at 120 pounds.

..... I searched but haven't had much luck on finding these specs.

Hello, welcome to AS. My service manual states that 110-125 compression cold is good. Any lower than 110 and I'd get some new rings in there.

Fantastic!! Thanks for the info. I thought it would have been more for some reason (140/150) - but after popping off the mufflers and checking out the jug and piston, they both look real good. Guess there is still some life left in these two.

Cheers!
