Found this old PM 340 a while ago and just got around to tidying it up. Saw was lightly used and has sat for the last 25 years - even has the original sprocket (with orange over spray). I stole the top cover and muffler from a parts saw and put the period GB bar and chain on. Interestingly, the saw came from only a few miles from Sunshine (suburb in Melbourne where the GB factory was).
This cylinder has three holes drilled for the transfers whereas some of the Skill versions were detuned by having only two. It is 68 cc or thereabouts and runs very strong. They are made very nicely and have a unique style - kind of like a 1960's sports car. It is a bit scratched up but I don't mind - kind of gives it a little character.
