polinate fruit trees

Hi, We would like to plant two dwarf apple trees on our property. I need to know if they are self polinating or if we need to plant two different kinds of apples. We are thinking of a granny smith and a jonathan dwarf. thanks

Seems to me they are not hybrids, wich are the ones that useualy need cross pollination. Call a local orchard, they are usualy willing to pass on knowledge.
