Base and chamber cut and a new Meteor piston installed. Exhaust and intake heights where change but the transfers where untouched. Muffler and carb have been modified. This is a very good firewood saw, more power than stock but not to radical.

Yes with some mods to it. Doesn't have the horrible bog.

I bought a 359 w/walbro carb from this cat. He knows how to fix the carb. Great guy to deal with also.

How come some have it and other don't
I had one last summer that was a non cat version and it was a great runner with a 20" B&C it would pull like mad. Just sold a beautiful one wouldn't even stay running.
I now have a 357 that runs great and it still has the plastic clamp. It's good and tight, just surprised. Bought it off the original owner and he had an AM P&C kit installed and the guy who did the work is a stihl/husky service guy .
