Got a new chain for the Oleo mac 947

Manufacturer says 0.325 X 0.58 chain
(Here it is on their site: http://www.oleomac.it/Prodotto.jsp?...dFamigliaRif=1&idFamiglia=2&idSottoFamiglia=6 )

Insisted on an Oregon, as this is what I got with the saw.

At home I noticed my original chain what came with the saw says
25 on the depth gauges and
21 on the drive links.

While the new chain I got says
25 on the depth gauges BUT
20 on the drive links.

Does it matter?
If not, it'll save me an hours' drive...

Will appriciate any word of advice!
Thanx.

I'm not sure what the numbers mean as I've never really paid close attention to them, I'm sure someone will have an answer soon fer ya, but until then I'd simply do a side-by-side comparrison with your old chain, if the spacing between the drivers is the same and the width of the gauge is correct I see little (meaning no) reason for you not to be good to go. Is it possible you have a different style of tooth? Pretty sure there are other threads on this but my 'search function' is still kaput or I'd go hunt them down for you (yup, bored lol), give it a go from your end though (search that is).
Here ya go, it seems to be a series number, check it out for youself mate> http://www.oregonchain.com/325.htm
As best as I can figure the '21' is 'micro chisel' and the '20' is 'square corner chisel' pro chisel chain, drivers appear the same.
As always I stand to be corrected could be its .50 rather than .58 guage> http://www.oregonchain.com/pdf/chain/20LP_FB.pdf Now I'm confused, measure the gauge as I said before, if .58 then yer good and can save gas :)
 And Welcome!
