Sorry. I don't have any 8500 parts unless one from a 5200 will work.

Any bow clutch covers? I don't see any front handlebars, do you have one for a 4400? If that is a 4900 top cover, how much?

do you have a good crankcase for a 4400, 4900,5400 or 6900-8500 their all the same

The part numbers appear to all be the same for the cases looking at the 4400, 4900 and 5400 all the way to the 8500 series saw that why I asked. If their is a difference is it big enough that one of those case can't work

The only difference is the crankshaft numbers. As far as the crankshaft to the bearings and seal, it should all be the same for fitment.

The flywheel and clutches are about the same for fitment for saw to saw.

It appears that I was incorrect (if the interchange information I found tonight on an internet parts site is correct). I based my earlier assertion on what I'd seen in the IPL's.

The part # for the 4200-5400 crankcase is 530010535. The # for the 6900/7700/8500 crankcase is 530010748. What I hadn't realized is that the 10748 crankcase is now listed as a suitable replacement for the 10535 crankcase.

I'd assumed incorrectly that the different top cover, intake, and divider assemblies unique to the 6900-8500 saws had necessitated a different crankcase. I have an 8500 as well as earlier saws in the series, but haven't yet compared the crankcases.

The crankshaft, clutch inner bearing race, clutch bearing, clutch washers, clutch drum, and clutch hub are all different for the 6900-8500......but those don't affect the crankcase. The FW is the same, as are the clutch springs and shoes.

Well hopefully if anybody else needs a case this information will be of help. Anytime one of these can be saved now we have options. Now I just need to find a top and I'll have enough parts to start this project.
