Well, I'm not 100% sure either, but I'd want a bit more than $85 for a nice 36" Poulan bar...
An Oregon bar is a different story.

From help from a few others on the forums a D096/D196 bars are a direct mount, so it doesn't need to be a Poulan bar. Just a bar that would be a direct mount to the Poulan 8500.
