The saw starts easily and idles great but bogs down when the trigger is pulled - at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle. I cannot get it to run at full throttle. A compression test indicates 120 psi. I installed new fuel lines and primer bulb, a new fuel filter, a new carburetor (exact match - name and number as the original carburetor), a new ignition coil, and new spark plug. I tried to adjust the carburetor but nothing I've done has.made a difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You've confirmed you don't have leaking crank seals and have done a vacuum test? They are an often a source of hassle on newer Poulan saws.

Also, what are you using for carb settings? You've tried opening your high jet as well as closing it? If you haven't got enough fuel going in you will get a bog, however, if you have way too much fuel you can also get a bog.

I've tried everything with regard to the carb settings. I did not consider the crank seals and I didn't do a vacuum test (looks like it is a complicated test). Instead, I bought a new chainsaw (not a Poulan). I'm trying to sell this one along with the old carb and coil and 2 new chains and 4 or 5 used chains and anything else that is related to Poulan. Hoping to get $30 for everything.
