That's gotta be close to the worlds most used (bullsh##) lie/line
when someone is trying to unload any piece of O P E.
The extra credit is for when the recoil rope is conveniently broken.
Cause otherwise, you'd just pop a $3.00 spark plug in it and try it, before you bought it.
IF it truly just needed a new spark plug,
Do you think they would be selling the unit for under half what it would bring if it was running??
If they *honestly* know that it is only a spark plug problem.

Guy bought that $25 655 needing a plug and gave the guy $30. He put in a new plug and fixed recoil tuned carb and had a running 655 for $30 and part. Yep it happened LOL
Guys post on CR = Turns over fine so I'll get it running. I gave the guy 30 for it and he was overjoyed.
Well the saw runs and cuts.. chain is dull but it runs and has plenty of power.
Another guy said the guy selling was selling alot of stuff cleaning up and just needed some quick cash.
