price of dolmar 7900

has anyone gotten a price on a new 7900 lately?wondering because I ordered one and the price he quoted me was 869.00 been hearing lots people here say in the 750.00 range can he charge more than msrp or what gives?

I give $500 for mine, but it was a demo at the dealer. He said $750 with a 24.
This was in the spring. He is a small dealer and doesn't stock them but has a 7300 and 7900 to demo and a 510 or something small like that.

yes,the dealer can charge whatever he wants, but that price is a little high,are you getting any extras?

That is msrp. Most dealers sell them at a promo price which is around 750.
My dealer is selling them at 759 or 769 wearing 28"bar with free 20" thrown in.

hi . is'nt baileys advertising makita 6401 chainsaws with a big bore kit(79 cc) thrown in for $599 . i thought these are same as dolmar 7901 with spare jug and piston.

They are made in Taiwan and the displacement is about 84cc.

taiwan is not german so i guess id rather have the 7900.

Baileys had the 7900 topend for under $200 awhile back. That would up the price around $60 over the big bore.
