I have an old Pro Mac 10 10S that was given to me. The brake handle doesn't latch and I must hold it in position while cutting. It seems like a spring is required to force the pawl to hold a pin on the handle but the torsion spring around the handle doesn't fit anyway I try to assemble it.
Does anybody have a picture of what a good brake handle assembly looks like? The local repair shop tells me the saw belongs in a museum and that spare parts are virtually non-existant.
