Hey guys,
I am new to the site and pretty new to wood heat. I just got a used Clayton 1600 furnace and refurbished it. What do you recommend I set the tempature probe to? It's a new temp probe and was set to 100 and 150 when i bought it but what are most people doing? Would there be any benefit to setting cycle temps closer together or further apart?

100 on, 150 off sounds about right. Go to usstove.com and download a manual. Make sure you set the high limit at the correct temperature, especially if you have a forced draft. The farther apart the off and on, the longer the blower will run. Enjoy the heat! Welcome to A.S, there's alot of good helpful people here.
