Redmax g2500ts

I just got one of these used at the pawn shop it runs great and cuts well it has a 16 in bar on it which I think is over kill I will probably get a 12 in. Does anyone have any experience with these saws. Thanks for any help

i have a redmax G455avs,,bought it new and have had it for about 8 or 9 years now,,,have never put a spanner on it at all,,just kept the usual maintenance up to it....only thing that does need fixing is the anti vibe rubbers,,,which have only gone in the last few months...
