regrinding woochips

has anyone thought about regrinding chips and coloring them and what machine would you recomend

Alot of large tree outfits do this very same thing , morbark and bandit are probably two of the most popular

thanks for the info i looked in to bandit morbark 950 tub and rotochopper cp118 i produce about 4000 yards of wood chips a year. morbark 950 and rotochopper cp118 are about same price 100,000. i am leaning to cp 118 because supposably it does in one pass regrinds chipps and colors at 70 yards per hour and im limited to space. does anyone owne a 950 morbark tub, or a cp 118 rotochopper. bandits grinder cost about 225,000 and moore for the coloring unit any help would be appreciated. thanks

Have HD-8 Duratech for $36,000

Could set you up with a Duratech HD-8 for $36,000 and add a liquid dye package for about $8500 and you could dye 30 - 40 yards per hour. Also have customers who just dump the powdered dye directly into tub with pretty good results.
