Rigging systems

Does anyone have experience with the 'Backbone', or other knotless rigging systems?
We're thinking of switching over to some kind of knotless rigging system, but I don't have much familiarity with them. For removals, we typically have a block up in the tree and a GRCS strapped to the trunk. Are there knotless systems that can be used with heavier material?
Any good input is appreciated.

IMO if you are sending down large things one at a time then just stick with simple knots. I don't really think knotless saves any time or energy but can be useful for more intricate rigging I suppose.

If you're going big, stick with knots. I use knotless for small to medium rigging. Steel carabiner and rated loops work great. IMO.

Knot or knotless the rope usually breaks at the hard bend where the two cross. I like spliced eyes with a steel biner or shackle, for the price of the Backbone you can buy several steel biners.
