Hello All,

I just picked up a Granberg Alaskan Mill G 776 and put it together last night. I am a complete rookie at this but in my studies, I heard that if you have a regular semi-chisel chain...that if you filed it to 10 degrees, it could be used to rip.

Is this true?

Thanks

You can use it exactly the way it is now, the 10 deg angle just gives you a smoother cut.
