Well i guess this is where to ask it. Anyways I have been thinnin out the neighbors old 50 acre farm. in the winter i knocked down a couple of ash and elm trees that were dead. i couldnt drag em out at the time cuz of the two feet of snow. i finally got around to pullin em out but rutted up the trail pretty good with the fourwheeler. i got a bunch locust and elm trees layin around.. Should i throw the logs in the ruts? if so runnin parallel or perpendicular? or should i wait til it dries up real good grade it all down it pitch it into a ditch? THANKS IN ADVANCED

Leave it till it is dry

I would leave the trail's alone for a while. then you can use the atv to pull out the remaining logs. If you have a logging arch that would lift one end of the log and create less impact / damage to the trails. You could also buck up the logs and bring them out with a trailer. Just my 2 cents worth:greenchainsaw:
