Jul 29, 2010 #2 The port diameter for a SAE 8 "ORB" is .391 and the I.D of 1/2" tubing with a .049" wall is .402". The I.D. of 1/2" pipe schedule 40 is .622". You would have to move up to aprox. an SAE 12 to get close to the same flow. kfhines
