Drag Saw. These loggers are cutting old growth timber in Washington's Olympic Peninsula. They are probably working for the Carlsborg lumber company in Clallam county, Washington ca. 1910-1920.

Used one back on the farm in N Id. Not anywhere near that size though. It was a 1 man machine. Very relaxed way of making wood. Cut a round and while thenext was being cut you had plenty of time to split and load the last one. My brother knows where one is and I may make a dicker on it but I suspect it will be carrying a 'collector price'.
