Around here we have a garbage tk that comes around once a week and parks so everyone can dump their trash and there is a older fella that hangs out and gets the metal. He comes up with some great stuff and i got a Sears saw from him with a 20 inch bar on it that looks complete but no spark, do these saws have any value to anyone out there?

Them old sears had points so it may still have hope. My dad had a gear drive sears when I was a kid. That thing was super dependable. Later, he picked up a non gear model and ran that. The chain ran faster on the non gear but didn't have as much grunt. Then I bought a John Deere 80EV and the sears saws started collecting dust. I sold him that deere when I moved to the city for 5 years. Now the deere lost spark(CDI) and can't get parts. He will have to depend on my Stihls now.
